My dad, Joe Green, passed away today, February 24, 2008, at 7am. He was a great friend and a caring father that will be sorely missed. His achievements included: Valedictorian of his class at Forest Park High School and at Oglethorpe University (BS Physics), nuclear physicist at the Oak Ridge Laboratories for Union Carbide, part owner of family business, E.D. Green Corporation and founder/owner of American Synthol (manufacturer of synthetic lubricants).

I want to wish all of my readers a Happy Holiday!

The year has been an eventful one for me with a great deal of pain and joy. JMG Artblog has help me get through some tough times and provided me with new friends and interests. I appreciate all of my readers and their comments. Hopefully I will be a little more consistent with the posts and write in more detail on a variety of topics. Feel free to write me with any comments, suggestions or just for the heck of it.

I wanted to include this photo of my dad and son at my mother's grave. We miss her greatly.

Thanks For The Support

I am back from Atlanta after spending most of May at Piedmont Hospital. My mom was admitted to the hospital on May 5th and passed away on May 27th. I appreciate all of the encouragement and prayers from everyone. I am looking forward to working on JMG Artblog again.
